We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Salon on February 26th, where we’ll explore the theme “God on Mission.” This gathering is a space to share and engage with creative works—whether written, visual, musical, or performance-based—that reflect how we see, experience, or wrestle with the idea of God on mission in the world. All mediums are welcome as we come together to explore this profound theme.
If you’d like to participate by submitting a piece for consideration, please send it here by February 19th. Your submission can be inspired by scripture, personal experiences, theological reflections, or any expression that connects with this theme.
As you create, consider “mission” as God’s ongoing work to redeem, restore, and reconcile all things to Himself. What does it look like for God to be on mission in the world today? How is His work revealed through His people? How is creation itself a part of this mission? Reflect on questions like:
- How is God’s presence and purpose evident in our communities, cultures, or relationships?
- In what ways are His people called to embody His mission of love, justice, and restoration?
- How does creation bear witness to the redemptive work of God?
If you are interested in presenting your work at the Salon, be sure to submit it by the February 19th deadline. Once we’ve received your submission, someone will reach out with additional details about the event and what to expect for the evening.
We can’t wait to come together and we hope you feel inspired to create for this Salon.
Submit piece here.
If you plan on attending the Salon on February 26th, whether you are submitting a piece or not, please register so we can get a headcount for the night.
Submitting a piece does not guarantee the opportunity to present on the night of the Salon, however, we will do our best to represent each piece.
