As women of River House, we aim to live within the great commandment: to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Yet how are we to love the Lord with the fullness of ourselves if we are disconnected from ourselves – our stories, our desires, our dreams, our callings? And how are we to love others as ourselves if we settle for superficial connection? If we never really know the substance of one another?
Our aim as River House Women is to foster a spirit of unity through testimony: to honor the individual stories that make up our community and to recognize our place in the much larger story God is writing among us.
We invite you to Women’s Story Nights: an opportunity to come as you are, to share your story, to open yourself to the stories of others, and ultimately, to catch the common thread that binds us all together: God is on the move.
