AJ, our Associate Pastor at River House, recently returned from a life-changing ministry trip in the Middle East. In this episode, he shows us a window into his raw processing while debriefing his experience abroad. As he so regularly does, AJ poured his whole self out for the global church while abroad and found his heart captured by the simultaneous tragedy and unspeakable beauty of the Lord’s work in the lowliest places. He paints a brilliant picture for us of how unified we all are as the global church, and how God has equipped us for this work, especially by our prioritization of ministry to Him. As we come with radical faith and pure devotion to the heart of God, we may find ourselves in unbelievable places… perhaps preaching to tens of thousands of strangers in a foreign land that is not hospitable to the Gospel, therein discovering hunger for Jesus that can transform a nation.
Our prayer for this podcast, and the future podcasts that we host here on the Deep Waters platform, is that you will be captivated by the mission of Christ to worship the Lord, serve the church, and minister to the world with all that God has given you. May AJ’s story leave you activated to embody Christlikeness as you represent Him throughout every part of your day. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, may we be a passionate community of Jesus-worshipers with incarnational faith and transformational discipleship. May we see on Earth as it is in Heaven.
